The 5th annual "What's Cooking in Wallingford" restaurant-sampling event is set for Saturday, Sept. 9, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., along N. 45th Street in Wallingford. The event benefits Family Works, a local food bank and family resource center.
Over 30 locally-owned, ethnic restaurants will offer some of their best creations for just $2. Included are Italian, Indian, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Irish, French, Mexican, and American cuisine. Over 3,000 people enjoyed the celebration last year.
In addition, a beer garden and music stage will be set up for the event at the Wallingford Center, which is located on the corner of N. 45th and Wallingford Ave. N.
